Matt has played Professional Baseball since he was drafted in the 11th round by the Phillies in 2001. Matt will enter his 8th season of Professional Baseball this spring (2008). He spent 6 seasons with the Philadelphia Phillies and pitched in AA Reading for most of the 2006 season. He has since played for teams in the Atlantic League (Newark Bears, 2007), and the Carolina League (Salem Avalanche-Houston Astros, 2007). Matt is looking forward to a busy and productive off-season to get himself ready for the season.
